Question;
Can you put olive leaf extract directly into the ear?
Answer;
I have never tried this, but it looks like a good possibility.
1. An ethanolic tincture, if not too strong (around 30% alcohol) may work if you put in a few drops. Olive leaf extract does get sticky when dry so I don't know if this would cause a problem. It may also help to dilute it with an equal amount of vinegar. Used too often it may dry out the ear causing other problems.
2. A glycerine tincture may also work, a few drops, as it softens earwax too.
Theoretically, it may actually work, as it is very difficult to get at an inner-ear infection. Olive leaf extract taken orally may not get to the site of the infection in sufficient quantities to have an effect.
I don't know how much of the active constituents of olive leaf will pass through the ear drum to get to the inner ear.
It's worth a try - obviously with caution.
I would love to know the results if you do try so I can post it for others to see.

Question:
I have fluid BEHIND the eardrums which is causing problems like;
Echo feedback when I talk,
When I hear noises they are very loud,
Dizziness and some pain and distorted voices when someone speaks.
Will olive leaf help drain the fluid and restore my normal hearing? Note that the fluid build up is behind the eardrums.
Answer:
Olive leaf extract is great for loosening sinus congestion and may well help alleviate inner-ear congestion.
I believe this is usually caused by inflammation and consequent blockage of the Eustachian tube, so preventing the drainage of fluids from the inner ear.
Olive leaf extract, being a good anti-inflammatory, may reduce this inflammation and allow for the drainage to take place so solving the problem.
I would suggest you try an ethanolic tincture, or in combination with olive leaf capsules.
If this is an ongoing problem, you may need to look at allergies, or you may have an intolerance to milk products (a common problem) or wheat products or there may be some other irritation causing inflammation.
Try staying off both wheat and dairy for a week, and if this stops the mucous formation, re-introduce one of them. If the problem returns, you have your answer. If not, it's probably the other one.
Note: I assume you have seen a doctor to check for infection.
