Stomach bloating

Question:

Will olive leaf extract help with bloating?

Answer:

It should help if this is due to a build-up of the wrong gut flora, such as Candida Albicans.
This usually results from eating too much bread, foods high in refined carbohydrates, preservatives etc. and pasteurized milk products or from various medications such as antibiotics.

The long term solution is to refine your eating habits so they include large numbers of live probiotics such as are found in cultured vegetables, and to exclude the types of food that your body doesn't metabolize well.
If possible, find natural alternatives to prescription medication.
It may also help to take digestive enzymes with your meals.

Weight loss

Question:

Is this good for weight loss?

Answer:

When we used to supply it in South Africa a health and beauty clinic in an affluent area used to regularly buy olive leaf extract from us as a standard part of their beauty program.
I believe their goal was the internal cleansing of pathogens during an initial detoxification program before they worked on skin and beauty treatments.

Without healthy, customised eating habits and healthy insides you won't lose weight and keep it off, and olive leaf extract can play a part in achieving that as it did in the above example.
It will also help you lose excess water as it is a diuretic but other than that it is not a weight-loss product in the generally accepted sense.
