Safe for Dogs?

Question:
I have a female kelpie who suffers from re - occurring ear infections. I would like to try olive leaf extract liquid or tablets on her to see if it clears up the parasite or fungus that must be continually causing the infection. Do you know if it is safe for dogs?

Answer:
Some of the research done to investigate the properties of olive leaf extract was done on dogs.
There are no instances of adverse reactions that I am aware of, and I have had some good feedback from one person who used it very successfully for a skin condition on a poodle.
